Official announcement of Persepolis’ financial claims from the AFC
Persepolis’ claims from the Asian Football Confederation have been determined
Persepolis Club has engaged in negotiations with the Asian Football Confederation to retrieve its claims from this body. Due to several years of participation in the Asian Champions League and achieving the runner-up position in these competitions, Persepolis was unable to receive its claims from the AFC because of banking sanctions. According to the claim of Reza Darvish, the CEO of Persepolis, these claims amount to 3 million and 400 thousand dollars.
Darvish said in his press conference yesterday, Wednesday, ‘We have given a letter to the Football Federation requesting our claim. They said FIFA must determine the amount, and we must pay it. Our claim from the Asian Football Confederation is also 3 million and 400 thousand dollars, and they have suggested a solution.’
