Official announcement of Persepolis’ financial claims from AFC
Persepolis’ claims from the Asian Football Confederation have been identified
Persepolis has conducted negotiations with the Asian Football Confederation to receive its claims from this organization. Due to banking sanctions, Persepolis was unable to receive its claims from AFC, which according to Reza Derakhshani, the CEO of Persepolis, amount to $3.4 million. Persepolis has been participating in the AFC Champions League for several years and achieved the title of runner-up in these competitions.
Yesterday, in his press conference, Derakhshani stated that we have submitted our demands in letters to the Football Federation. They said that FIFA should determine the amount we are owed, and we need to pay our debt. Our claim from the Asian Football Confederation is also $3.4 million, for which they have proposed a solution.
