Oil Minister: Oil Exports Continue as Before

The oil minister says oil exports continue as before

Mohsen Paknejad, the oil minister of the Islamic Republic, told the national broadcaster on the sidelines of the cabinet meeting that oil exports continue as before with the same quantity and conditions, and currently, we have no concerns in this regard.

According to Reuters, the import of oil from the Islamic Republic of Iran to China reached its highest level in the first half of June, before the U.S. attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities and Trump’s proposed new agreement.

Based on this report, data from the tanker tracking company Vortexa shows that from June 1st to June 20th (11th to 30th of Khordad), China imported more than 18 million barrels of oil per day from Iran, which is the highest recorded level for this time period.
