Oman's Foreign Minister Arrives in Tehran

The Foreign Minister of Oman arrived in Tehran

Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi arrived in Tehran and was welcomed by Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic.

The Foreign Minister of Oman will meet not only with Mr. Amir-Abdollahian but also with several other Iranian officials.

The focus of these discussions has been stated as bilateral issues and the latest regional and international developments.

Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman, had a two-day visit to Tehran on the 7th of Khordad and met with Ebrahim Raisi and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic.

At that time, it was reported that he was carrying a message from the United States for Iran.

Oman has previously played the role of mediator in Iran-U.S. negotiations and has good relations with Iran.
