One million tomans deducted from some retirees' pensions

One million tomans were deducted from the pension of some retirees.

Following widespread protests, the Social Security Organization announced that the deducted amount from the March pension of some retirees will be returned.

Iranian media reported on Sunday, March 20, that the Social Security Organization deposited the March pension of some retirees after deducting one million tomans from it.

Afterwards, Mohammad Asadi, the head of the Social Security Organization’s Retirees’ Association, told the IRIB news agency that the deduction was intended for the allocation of Amir Kabir Petrochemical shares to the retirees.
