George Cohen, the former right-back for England’s national team and Fulham club, has died at the age of 83. Cohen was one of the key players for the Three Lions in the 1966 World Cup final, where the team celebrated its first and only championship by defeating West Germany 4-2. Cohen was a Fulham legend, having played 459 matches for the club between 1956 and 1966. He also played in 37 matches for England.
