The Pakistani army announces the conclusion of Field Marshal Asim Munir’s visit to Tehran
The Pakistani army announced that Field Marshal Asim Munir, the commander of the country’s army, has concluded his three-day visit to Tehran.
In a statement, the Pakistani army mentioned that during this visit, he met with the President of Iran, the Foreign Minister, the Speaker of the Parliament, and the head of the Iranian Army Command Center.
The Pakistani army described this visit as a sign of Islamabad’s firm determination to facilitate an agreement and also to promote peace, stability, and prosperity.
According to this report, Asim Munir emphasized the necessity of dialogue, reducing tensions, and resolving disputes through diplomacy during this visit.
Meanwhile, alongside these developments, Iran has warned that if the U.S. continues to blockade the country’s ports, the Strait of Hormuz will be closed again. This comes just a few hours after it was announced that this strategic waterway had reopened following a ceasefire in Lebanon.
