According to Reuters, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said Field Marshal Asim Munir’s visit to Tehran, the Chief of the Armed Forces of this country, has created significant momentum in the path of opening or advancing the issue of the Strait of Hormuz

Pakistan has previously been a mediator for the Iran-US ceasefire agreement and the Islamabad memorandum. Tehran and Washington say this understanding has been violated and they no longer adhere to its terms

Iran has announced that if the implementation of the memorandum is resumed by the US, Tehran will also fulfill its commitments in this agreement
