The Interior Minister of Pakistan made an unannounced trip to Doha

Syed Mohsin Naqvi, the Interior Minister of Pakistan, arrived in Doha on an unannounced trip and met with Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Interior Minister of Qatar, to discuss bilateral cooperation, including security issues.

The Ministry of Interior of Qatar has confirmed this meeting, but Pakistani officials have not yet commented on this trip. According to some diplomatic sources in Islamabad, the Interior Minister of Pakistan is also expected to meet with other senior officials of the Qatari government during this visit.
