The Member of Parliament said the government has hit rock bottom financially.
Mostafa Hosseini Ghottabadi, a member of the Parliament’s Industries and Mines Commission, mentioned that in public circles, there are discussions about whether, if this decision had been made by a reformist government, they would have been granted such permission, would they have faced the same reactions, or would they have been accused of other things.
There are also discussions suggesting that the government has reached financial bankruptcy and hit rock bottom, which has led them to auction off assets. All these issues have caused uncertainty, some ambiguities, and created a lot of doubt.
Therefore, this issue must be taken very seriously. Mr. Ghalibaf also promised today, in response to colleagues’ criticisms in the public session, that for the first time, he would clarify this issue for the people and Parliament tomorrow morning.
