Parliament Member Says Access to Agreement May Take Time

A parliament representative suggests reaching an agreement may take time

Ali Alizadeh, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament, in a conversation with ILNA regarding the latest status of the JCPOA revival talks between Iran and the JCPOA member parties, suggested that reaching an agreement might be time-consuming.

In part of this conversation, he stated that after the European proposal, which seemed to have been accepted by the United States, was presented to Iran, Iran, seeking an agreement, accepted it with 23 minor conditions and was ready for an agreement. As a result, it was expected that the United States would also consider these 23 conditions, and reaching an agreement seemed very close. However, this assumption was wrong, as the behavior of the American side has recently become somewhat different from before. Consequently, considering the recent note from the United States, reaching an agreement may take time.
