Parliament Member: The Root of Hijablessness is the Singleness of Girls

The root of immodesty is the unmarried status of girls, says a parliament member.

Shargh, quoting Mehdi Bagheri, a member of the Judicial and Legal Commission of the Parliament, wrote about the issue of combating immodesty.

If the conditions for marriage were provided, perhaps we wouldn’t have these contemporary issues and challenges. Neglecting public modesty issues stems from the fact that the groundwork for healthy, religious, and legal interactions between boys and girls has not been laid. In my opinion, the discussion of immodesty is rooted in their unmarried status.

Unveiling in recent months is not a civil protest. The nature and creation of women are intertwined with beauty, and this is God’s work because God created women this way. Women are inherently inclined to express their perfections and beauty.

This cannot be denied, suppressed, or repressed, and it is a completely correct and natural matter. When the religious and proper conditions are not provided, girls do this in the streets.
