Parviz Mazloumi: Queiroz’s ideas are no longer useful
A football expert stated that the national team played fearfully against the United States and England in the World Cup and couldn’t achieve a result, saying Queiroz’s ideas are no longer useful and the Iranian team needs rebuilding.
Parviz Mazloumi talked about the performance of Iran’s national football team in the 2022 Qatar World Cup and the reasons for the team’s elimination, stating that in the first half of the match against the USA, just like the game against England, we were fearful and couldn’t present an acceptable performance.
He added that the defensive tactic, even in a game where we needed a draw, was not effective. We were completely defensive, forgot about attacking play, and tampered with a winning combination. All these led to us not being able to advance to the next stage for the first time.
Mazloumi said, to be honest, Queiroz’s ideas are no longer beneficial for Iranian football. He has lost his creativity and has fully turned to defensive play, and this could harm us in the future with Queiroz’s presence.
