The Deputy Press Secretary of the Pentagon announced that the US contacted Tehran after Israel’s attack on Iranian diplomatic facilities in Damascus

Sabrina Singh told reporters that we have clearly communicated to Iran through private channels that we are not responsible for the attack that occurred in Damascus

Singh added that I think, given the high tensions in the region, we wanted to make it very clear and through private channels that the US was not involved in the attack on Damascus
