Pezeshkian Criticized Government Agencies' Violations in Implementing the Constitution

Pezeshkian criticized the violations by government agencies in implementing the constitution

Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic, in the third meeting of the Constitutional Implementation Monitoring Committee, said that if we look at the principles of the constitution and how they are implemented, we will see that the government agencies themselves are one of the main violators of these principles and offenders in their implementation.

Pezeshkian stated that instead of expanding the missions of the agencies, it is better to prioritize them and set a timeframe for their implementation. He said if we want to implement a law or decision correctly and on time, we must prepare and draft it with the consultation of the executors, process owners, and the target population.

He emphasized that we must start the work of monitoring the general and specialized indicators of implementing the constitution from the executive branch, which is completely under our supervision and administration.

According to the constitution of the Islamic Republic, the executive branch, headed by the president, is responsible for its implementation.
