Pezeshkian: Decisions on War and Negotiation Are Made in the Supreme National Security Council

Pezeshkian: Decisions about war and negotiation are made in the Supreme National Security Council.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, emphasized that decisions regarding war and negotiation fall under the responsibility of the Supreme National Security Council and that the country’s major policies should be communicated through this council.

He said that decision-making about war and negotiation is the responsibility of the Supreme National Security Council, a council where representatives of all governing bodies, including the leadership, are present.

Pezeshkian added that personal desires and interpretations cannot be presented as public demands and that one cannot attempt to impose them on the country’s decision-making structure through media or political pressure.

The President of Iran warned that creating duality and conflict over these issues is the very divide that, according to him, the enemy seeks to create.
