Pezeshkian: Expatriates Don't Care About Us

Pezeshkian: The expatriates do not care about us

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Sunday, June 1st, criticized the country’s energy consumption pattern at the Iran Productivity Conference, saying, ‘I do not have the right to make a decision that harms the people. Neighboring countries have more money than us, but they have better energy consumption.’

In contrast, we have less money and consume worse than they do.

He also mentioned in part of his speech, referring to the West’s stance towards Iran, ‘America, Europe, and the expatriates do not care about us.’
