Pezeshkian: We will not negotiate about ballistic missiles
Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, emphasized in a meeting with Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, that the issue of Iran’s ballistic missiles has neither been raised in negotiations nor will it be negotiated in the future.
He said no negotiations have taken place about ballistic missiles, and none will take place.
Pezeshkian, referring to recent negotiations with the United States, added that we are committed to what we have signed in the recent agreement, and the Supreme Leader and the people of Iran also agree with this framework.
The President of Iran also stated that Tehran is distrustful of the United States, expressing that while we were on the negotiation path twice, we were attacked. However, we have always been ready for dialogue and peace.
He continued by referring to the recent war by the United States and Israel against Iran, calling these attacks aggression, and said that during this, a large number of Iranian commanders, officials, and civilians lost their lives.
These statements come amid recent speculations about the possibility of raising the issue of Iran’s missile program in future negotiations between Tehran and Washington.
