Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, discussed with Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, his Egyptian counterpart, the export of Ukrainian grain through the corridor opened by the Russian fleet in the Black Sea during a phone call.

In a statement, the Kremlin announced that Vladimir Putin informed Abdel Fattah el-Sisi about Russia’s stance on the Istanbul agreement for the export of Ukrainian grain from Black Sea ports and the export of food and chemical fertilizers from Russia to global markets, emphasizing the need for comprehensive implementation of the agreement.

Putin and el-Sisi also discussed topics of bilateral cooperation and the supply of Egyptian agricultural products by Russia.
