Poisoning of Students in at Least 28 Schools Across Five Provinces in Iran
Reports indicate that on Tuesday, April 18, at least 28 more schools in five provinces of Iran were targeted in the ongoing series of student poisonings.
According to published news, the schools of Niyayesh and Saipa in Eslamshahr, and Pardis Sharif, Shahid-e-Makkah, Ghyas, Abrar, Kowsar, and Saed in Tehran were attacked.
Following the poisoning incidents in three girls’ schools – Abrar, Shahid-e-Makkah, and Kowsar – on Piroozi Street in Tehran, several students were hospitalized with symptoms of headache, dizziness, shortness of breath, and high heart rate.
The extent of the poisonings in the middle and high schools on Piroozi Street in Tehran was such that some parents of the students were also hospitalized with similar symptoms.
