The police chief of Yazd province seized a truck with its 11-year-old driver.

Rahim Hajidehabadi, the head of the Yazd province highway police, stated that their officers seized a produce truck with an 11-year-old driver on the Ardekan to Naein road.

The IRIB News Agency reported that the officers stopped the truck for a document check during a patrol and discovered that an 11-year-old boy was driving it, immediately transferring the vehicle to a parking lot.

He stated that the truck was traveling from Kerman to Tehran.

Mr. Dehabadi mentioned that a legal case has been opened regarding this incident.

The Iran newspaper reported that earlier in October of this year, a trailer driven by a 12-year-old child was also seized in Yazd province.
