The police confirm the death of a 2-year-old child by police shooting

The police and the judicial organization of the armed forces of Isfahan province confirmed that yesterday the police in Varzaneh, Isfahan, shot at a car and killed a two-year-old child.

Earlier, the 1500 Tasvir account and the Telegram channel of the civil protest in the market separately reported that on Friday, a mother and father were traveling with their young twins when a truck belonging to the special unit cut them off. The driver thought they were attackers and tried to change his route, but shots were fired at them, and during this shooting, a bullet hit the head of Amir Ali Mousavi Kazemi.

According to Rokna, following the child’s death, the police issued a statement confirming the news, saying that officers combating drug traffickers stationed on a side road in eastern Isfahan became suspicious of a vehicle with non-local plates and ordered it to stop, but the driver continued on and fled.
