The police say the news about girls being kidnapped and their hair being cut is false.

Namakeshnas stated that through specialized investigations and field research, it has been determined that no complaints or calls related to the published news have been received by the Greater Tehran police.

The head of the Information Center of the Greater Tehran Police Command said, while advising and emphasizing the observance of social norms, the police are taking action to eliminate any real or perceived threats to citizens’ sense of security and are following up on the publication of the above news with the news agency that released it.
