Possible Execution of Three Defendants in the Downing of Ukrainian Plane

Possibility of execution for three defendants in the downing of the Ukrainian plane

Alizadeh Talatabayi, the lawyer for some of the Ukrainian families, reported that the first defendant is accused of involuntary manslaughter and revoking orders, which is part B of Article 37, considered as waging war against the state.

The second and third defendants are accused of revoking orders, also considered as waging war against the state, while the charges for defendants four through ten are negligence in performing their duties according to the indictment.

There is a possibility that the death penalty will be issued for the first three defendants, but our objection is that others were also at fault.

Alizadeh Tabatabayi stated that many families have become disillusioned with the fair handling of the Ukrainian plane case and have withdrawn their complaints. Now, only 20 to 30 people remain, while 56 have withdrawn.
