Promise of 200,000 imported cars reduced to 10,000

The promise of importing 200,000 cars has been reduced to 10,000.

According to the latest official statistics from the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as of Tuesday, 21st of Esfand, 9,709 passenger cars with a total value of around 235 million dollars have been cleared. Despite some policymakers promising the delivery of 200,000 cars by the end of 1402, there are currently no convincing answers for importing cars. However, it seems that with a shift towards electric products, once again, obstacles will be created in the entry of foreign cars.
