Purchase of 972 Houses in Turkey by Iranians

While it was expected that the flow of foreign investment into Turkey’s real estate sector would halt or decrease for a while due to the massive earthquake on February 6, 2023, according to statistics from the Turkish Statistical Institute, Iranians purchased 446 properties in February and 526 properties in January in Turkey.

In other words, citizens of our country purchased 972 properties in Turkey in the first two months of 2023, with their value estimated at over 16 trillion tomans, assuming a dollar exchange rate of about 42,000 tomans.

According to Turkish statistics, Iranians rank second in property purchases after Russians, and they have a significant lead over Iraq, which ranks third.
