Putin called for reform of the global financial system
Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, said at the BRICS summit in New Delhi that the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the World Trade Organization were formed based on past political and economic realities and must adapt to the shift of commercial activities to developing markets.
He added that areas such as platform economy, financial technologies, and digital trade require new institutions and regulations.
Putin also said that BRICS is ready to play a decisive role in shaping the future of the global economy.
