Putin on the path of revenge for the Crimea bridge explosion

Putin on the path of revenge for the Crimea bridge explosion, the city of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, has been severely shaken by heavy missile attacks from the Russian military on the capital and several major cities in Ukraine.

Several missiles have hit densely populated and crowded areas of Ukraine’s capital, and the Russian military timed the attack precisely during the busy hours of civilian traffic in the capital. Prior to this attack, the Russian military had focused its heavy missile attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhia over the past two days, which coincidentally is one of the regions Putin claims to have annexed to Russian territory.

The Russian missile attacks on various regions of Ukraine have been intensely ongoing, and now in Kyiv, Ukrainian officials are assessing the damages and casualties, with eight fatalities identified so far. There is no new information on the casualties from missile attacks in other Ukrainian cities, yet the wave of missile attacks has been extremely heavy and has caused unprecedented damage to areas like Kharkiv. Vladimir Putin will hold an important Russian National Security meeting today, Monday, and the West is watching this meeting and Putin’s statements to understand his reaction to recent events and his new decisions.
