Putin: Trump’s peace plan aligns with Russia’s positions
Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, said at a press conference on Thursday that the 28-point peace plan by the Trump administration to end the war in Ukraine somewhat considers Russia’s stance and can serve as a basis for future agreements.
The United States recently presented an updated version of its plan to halt the deadliest conflicts in Europe since World War II.
Earlier, Ukraine had also expressed its agreement with the 28-point peace plan by the Trump administration, although the initial proposal had concerned both Kyiv and its European allies, who were worried that the plan might reflect Russia’s maximalist approach.
