Putin visited Russian military in Kherson
Less than a month after Vladimir Putin’s trip to Mariupol, the Kremlin released a video showing Putin visiting Russian military forces in Kherson. The timing of this visit is unclear. While the foreign ministers of the G7, in the final resolution of their meeting in Japan, condemned Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and called for the withdrawal of Russian forces from the country, the Kremlin released images depicting Vladimir Putin’s recent visit to Russian military and security forces in two occupied regions of Ukraine. It has been stated that the Russian president’s visit was to be informed about the situation in the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine. The Kremlin announced that the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces visited the General Staff of the Dnipro military unit in the Kherson region.
