Qa’ani: Israel’s retreat to pre-war positions is the minimum demand of the resistance

Ismail Qa’ani, commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said the minimum demand of the resistance forces is for Israel to retreat to the positions it held before the start of the 40-day war.

In a message supporting the Lebanese resistance, he emphasized that Israel must withdraw to the point before the start of the 40-day war.

Qa’ani also described the removal of Israel from the region as one of the achievable goals of the Islamic world and stated that the Lebanese resistance will continue on its path.

These statements come as Lebanon and Israel have announced that they have reached an agreement in US-mediated negotiations over the implementation of a ceasefire. However, the implementation of the agreement is contingent upon a complete halt to attacks and the fulfillment of a set of conditions by both parties.

Meanwhile, Lebanese militias have opposed direct negotiations between Beirut and Israel, and clashes in southern Lebanon continue.
