Qalibaf Blamed the Shahcheragh Tragedy on Protesters

Qalibaf blamed the Shiraz Shahcheragh tragedy on the protesters.

Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Parliament, in a message of condolence for the terrorist incident at the Shahcheragh Shrine in Shiraz, blamed this tragedy on the protesting people. Part of his message stated:

In recent days, reminiscent of the Battle of the Confederates and the all-out enemy alignment,

they could not achieve their sinister goals with all their power and capacity, but this time, with an act in the manner of takfiri terrorists and by shooting at defenseless, innocent, and religious people, they brought them to bloodshed and showed that the root of their enmity and hostility is with the people’s faith.

This heartbreaking tragedy is a final argument with all those who, in recent weeks, created unrest and paved the way for enemy conspiracies.
