Qalibaf: The presence of the United States in the region not only did not bring security but also created insecurity
Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, in a meeting with Syed Mohsin Naqvi, the Minister of Interior of Pakistan, said the recent war showed that the presence of the United States in the region is not only not a source of security but also paves the way for insecurity.
He also appreciated the support of the Pakistani government and people for Iran during the recent war and said that the people and officials of Iran fully understand these supports.
Qalibaf added that the relations between Tehran and Islamabad in political, economic, cultural, and security fields should expand and the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries should also be strengthened.
The Minister of Interior of Pakistan also said in this meeting that Islamabad has observed Iran’s steadfastness on national interests and simultaneous efforts to resolve issues during the negotiations.
Syed Mohsin Naqvi also said that the relations between the two nations have become closer after recent developments and Pakistanis pray day and night for the success of the Iranian government and people.
