Qatar Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: We Have No Information on Mediating a Lebanon Ceasefire

The spokesperson for Qatar’s Foreign Ministry: We have no information on mediation for a ceasefire in Lebanon.

The spokesperson for Qatar’s Foreign Ministry stated that there is no official mediation process for establishing a ceasefire in Lebanon, saying we have no information on a direct link between the ceasefire proposal in Lebanon and the ceasefire proposal in Gaza.

He said there is a connection and overlap between the Gaza and Lebanon issues, and although the wartime situation is unified, there are different communication processes.

He emphasized that Doha had warned about the dangers of the war spreading beyond the Gaza Strip from the very first day.

In this regard, Netanyahu’s office denied the existence of orders to reduce the scale of attacks against Lebanon and announced that Netanyahu has not yet responded to the proposals from the United States and France.
