The report warns that the agency’s knowledge of nuclear material inventory in Iran, including highly enriched uranium, has been cut off at damaged facilities.
The report states that Iran still has not allowed inspectors to enter nuclear sites that were bombed by Israel and the United States during the twelve-day war.
The report by Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the Agency, is addressed to the Board of Governors and is confidential, but news agencies say they have seen a copy of it.
The report states that it is crucial for the Agency to verify the previously declared inventory of nuclear materials in Iran as soon as possible and notes that the review of Iran’s enriched uranium inventory has been delayed for a long time.
