Radan said if the barrier of hijab and chastity is broken, no one will stand against oppression and tyranny anymore.
The Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Law Enforcement Forces, on Friday, April 27, in a ceremony attended by members and officials of the seminary in Qom, repeated the rhetoric of the Islamic Republic officials, describing Iranian women’s civil struggle against compulsory hijab as a result of enemy planning, and said that if the barrier of hijab and chastity is broken, no one will stand against oppression and tyranny anymore.
Ahmadreza Radan did not explain the connection between compulsory hijab and oppression and tyranny, but warned that failure in this field, which he referred to as a barrier, would occur in the absence of planning and certainty.
Despite the initiation of the hijab and chastity plan from the last week of April and the widespread deployment of government forces in cities, reports indicate that many protesting women continue to appear in public places without compulsory hijab.
