Rafael Grossi Arrives in Iran on Friday

Rafael Grossi will arrive in Iran on Friday

According to Fars News Agency, Rafael Grossi, the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, will travel to Iran on Friday for high-level meetings.

This visit will take place during discussions with Iran about the origin of uranium particles enriched up to 83.7%, which is very close to the purity needed for producing a nuclear bomb.

The discovery of these particles at the Fordow facility was mentioned in an agency report.

The United Nations Atomic Agency said on Tuesday that it is negotiating with Iranian officials regarding this issue.

Iranian officials had previously attributed the discovery of 84% uranium traces to the residue of radioactive materials in centrifuges and a mistake by an agency inspector.
