Rafael Grossi: Harris Administration Will Return to the JCPOA

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, stated on Wednesday evening, citing his sources, that based on the information he has, if Kamala Harris wins the U.S. presidential election in November, she is prepared to return to the Iran nuclear deal.

According to a report by Russia’s TASS news agency, Grossi added, ‘I do not have information about the decision of a potential Republican administration. If the Republicans win, they will announce their own position. However, we are in contact with the Harris administration, and they are seeking to return to some form of nuclear agreement.’

In the U.S. presidential election to be held on November 5th, Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States and the Democratic Party candidate, and Donald Trump, the former President of the United States and the Republican Party candidate, are in a tight and close race.

According to the latest polls conducted by American polling stations, the Democratic Party candidate is leading Trump by a narrow margin.
