Raisi’s popularity has reached 20 percent.

Raisi withdrew from the competition with Rouhani.

In a situation where it was expected that the current president would not nominate himself from the Tehran constituency in the Assembly of Experts elections and that there would be another competition between two former and current presidents in this constituency, Raisi registered from the Khorasan Jonubi constituency to compete, despite his political responsibilities.

Based on Rouhani’s statements and the buzz created on social media about the actions and statements of the former president, it is believed that Rouhani currently has considerable popularity among the general public. However, some polls show that Hassan Rouhani’s popularity is slightly higher than the early days when he participated in the 2013 presidential elections. Nevertheless, Raisi’s popularity is almost four times higher than Rouhani’s, at 20 percent, even though there are some dissatisfactions with Raisi’s government activities and actions.
