Re-poisoning of students in 4 schools in the city of Qom
ISNA news agency reports that a number of students from at least 4 schools in the city of Qom were poisoned today due to inhaling an unidentified gas.
ISNA, naming these schools, states that three are girls’ schools and one is a boys’ school.
Two days ago, 7 students and a teacher from Balqis Barqaei School in Qom were also poisoned.
Last Wednesday, the public relations of the Qom prosecutor’s office announced that a meeting was held with the presence of the public and revolutionary prosecutor of Qom, the deputy of standardization, and officials from the passive defense, the faculty of medical sciences, the fire department, and the province’s education department to examine the dimensions and causes of this incident and preventive solutions.
IRNA wrote about the history of these poisonings in Qom province, stating that on February 8th, 15 high school students, on Monday, February 10th, 17 students and a teacher at Fatemiyeh Girls’ School in Qom, on Wednesday, February 12th, 7 students and a teacher, on December 9th, 18 female students from Noor Technical School in Qom, and on December 22nd, 51 students of this high school were poisoned and transferred to medical centers.
