Reactions to Israeli Shooting During Food Delivery

After Israeli forces opened fire on a crowd of Palestinian civilians waiting to receive food aid, a wave of global reactions poured in regarding the incident.

Ursula von der Leyen along with Charles Michel, as two senior officials of the European Union, called for an investigation into the killing of Palestinians waiting to receive humanitarian food packages.

The Gaza Ministry of Health claims that over 100 civilians were killed in the Thursday attack by Israeli forces on people waiting to receive food aid.

On the other hand, the Israeli army says that the crowd of thousands of desperate Gazans surrounding a convoy of 38 trucks led to dozens being killed and injured, with some individuals being run over by the trucks. However, an Israeli source admitted that the country’s soldiers fired at the crowd, thinking that they could become a threat to them.
