Red Carpet for Car Dealers
The secretary of the car manufacturers association criticized the conditions announced by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade for registering imported cars. The way this directive is written essentially leaves the door open for dealers. We have repeatedly informed the officials that this sales model is not correct at all, and if they allow the experience of the 1990s to be repeated, where cars were sold at market margin and became single-priced, we will no longer face such a large crowd for registrations. According to statistics, there is more than 6,500 trillion tomans of liquidity in the country, which is not a small amount at all. This volume of liquidity accumulates in various markets like gold, dollars, and cars, disrupting them. What is expected from economists is that they should find a solution for this amount of liquidity in the country, including removing cars from the basket of investment goods.
