A Red Crescent rescue helicopter encountered an accident in Oshtorankuh.

A video has been released showing Red Crescent forces communicating with the victims of the helicopter crash in Oshtorankuh. It shows the helicopter occupants providing coordinates to the Red Crescent forces.

Ali Mohammadi, the managing director of the Red Crescent in Lorestan province, reported on Friday, October 2, about an incident involving this organization’s helicopter in Oshtorankuh.

According to reports, on the afternoon of Friday, October 2, a Red Crescent helicopter, which had been dispatched for a rescue operation to the heights of Oshtorankuh in Lorestan province, encountered an accident.

This helicopter, which had 8 occupants including flight crew and Red Crescent rescuers, was sent for a search and rescue operation for a missing woman at the 4,000-meter height of Chalkabud in Oshtorankuh and encountered an accident at the 2,800-meter height.

Rokna reported that after establishing communication and based on the information received from the victims, it was determined that there were 9 people inside the helicopter and one person has died due to severe injuries.
