The Red Fox Bookstore was sealed off

Continuing the crackdown on businesses in Iran for not adhering to mandatory hijab laws, the Red Fox children’s bookstore in Tehran was also sealed off on charges of unveiling.

On Tuesday, April 18th, this bookstore posted a photo on its Instagram account of the order from the Greater Tehran Public Places Administration, which was posted on its door.

Similarly, on April 4th, the Esfahan May Book City announced in an Instagram post that this cultural venue had been sealed off by the city’s Public Places Administration.

At the same time, videos have been circulating on social media since Tuesday, showing the Imam of Qeshm city giving orders to seal off such business venues.
