Hamburg Airport was shut down

According to DPA, after a threat to a flight from Tehran that landed in Hamburg, German police shut down the airport and are currently inspecting the plane and incoming passengers.

The terrorist attack threat was received by the police in the form of an email against a flight that arrived at Hamburg Airport from Tehran at 12:20 local time today.

After 20 minutes, the airport’s airspace was closed, and inspectors are now examining the flight’s luggage and its 198 passengers.
