Reports of the deteriorating condition of a student prisoner in Tabriz following a hunger strike

The National Student Councils have reported the deteriorating condition of Armita Pavir, a detained student at Tabriz Central Prison, following a dry hunger strike.

The National Student Councils, citing Ms. Pavir’s family, have published news stating that their daughter has been on a dry hunger strike since the first of Azar (November 22) and has been transferred to the infirmary.

According to this, Armita Pavir’s family members, after inquiring from Tabriz Central Prison, have realized the seriousness of her condition.

However, prison officials do not allow Ms. Pavir to speak with her family by phone.

Armita Pavir, a biology student at Tabriz Madani University, has been imprisoned since the ninth of Aban (October 31).
