A senior Iranian source told Reuters that if the United States attacks Iran’s power plants, the consequences will extend beyond the country’s borders.
According to this source, such an action could cause the entire region and Saudi Arabia to be plunged into complete darkness.
He also warned that if the situation escalates, Iran’s allies might block the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, an action that could seriously disrupt vital global trade routes.
