Reuters: Iran’s Foreign Minister will travel to Beirut to attend Nasrallah’s funeral

Reuters reported on Friday, February 22, that Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, will travel to Beirut to attend the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah. The ceremony will be held on Sunday in southern Beirut, and several senior commanders of Iran-linked militias from Iraq will also be present.

Hezbollah of Lebanon plans to bury its former leader, Hassan Nasrallah, nearly five months after he was killed in an Israeli airstrike, in a grand ceremony.

Nasrallah was killed last year in an Israeli airstrike while meeting with commanders in a shelter in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
