Reuters: Iran’s Foreign Minister will travel to Beirut to attend Nasrallah’s funeral

Reuters news agency reported on Friday, February 22, that Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, will travel to Beirut to attend the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah. The ceremony will be held on Sunday in the southern part of Beirut, and several senior commanders of Iran-affiliated militias from Iraq will also be present.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah intends to bury its former leader, Hassan Nasrallah, nearly five months after he was killed in an Israeli airstrike, in a grand ceremony.

Nasrallah was killed last year in an Israeli airstrike while meeting with commanders in a bunker in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
