Revealing Corruption in Ahmadinejad's Office

Exposure of Corruption in Ahmadinejad’s Office

According to Iran Gate, recent information has been obtained by the Iran Gate team indicating significant corruption in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office located in the upscale Velenjak area of Tehran. A corruption case involving approximately 5 trillion tomans has been mentioned, and strange details about it have been provided to the Iran Gate editorial team.

The bizarre circumstances surrounding Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s recent trip to Guatemala have once again brought this prominent Iranian politician into the media spotlight. Despite not making any statements during the past year amidst the ‘Women, Life, Freedom’ protests, he has now packed his bags and headed to Guatemala, a country known as Israel’s main base in Latin America. It appears that the country’s security agencies have also tried to dissuade him from this trip.

Simultaneously, documents regarding corruption in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office in Tehran have been provided to the Iran Gate editorial team. This information reveals that not only is he currently using a super-luxurious property in Tehran for free, but he has also rented out part of this property to a profitable business. This report delves into the details of this case.

What is the Velenjak Office Story?

According to previously released information, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been based in an office located in the Velenjak neighborhood of Tehran since 2014. However, it is unclear what activities he conducts in this office, but rumors suggest visits from individuals like Mashaei, Baghai, and Javanfekr.

This property, a 3,000-square-meter villa, has been at Ahmadinejad and his team’s disposal for about the past 10 years without any payment. Abdolreza Davari, Ahmadinejad’s former media advisor, mentioned a fictitious lease for this property, but Iran Gate’s information indicates that the property belongs to the Foundation for the Oppressed and that not even a single rial has been received from Ahmadinejad for rent over the past decade, and the lease is merely on paper.

However, Parviz Fattah, the head of the Foundation for the Oppressed of the Islamic Revolution, had announced in August 2020 about Ahmadinejad’s presence in this property. He claimed in a live TV program that the former Iranian president and his team would soon relocate to a building in southern Tehran.

But Parviz Fattah’s statements were not only incorrect but also contained flawed information. He had claimed that the property was 1,800 square meters and would soon be vacated by Ahmadinejad and his associates. However, the Velenjak property is 3,000 square meters, and more than three years after those statements, the property is still in Ahmadinejad’s possession.

Location of Ahmadinejad’s Super-Luxurious Office

The property at Ahmadinejad’s disposal is located at Velenjak, Mahmoudieh neighborhood, Moqaddas Ardabili Street, Shadavar Street, 8th East Alley, No. 6. The phone number for this office is also listed on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s official website as 02122017818. The exact location of this property is shown in the image below. It is worth noting that if this 3,000-square-meter property is calculated at the current price of houses in Velenjak, it is valued at over 5,500 billion tomans, with a price per square meter of approximately 200 million tomans.

Corruption in Mahmoud’s Office

Recently, information about this office has been provided to Iran Gate, indicating ongoing billion-level corruption. As mentioned, this 5,500-billion-toman office belongs to the Foundation for the Oppressed of the Islamic Revolution and has been provided to Ahmadinejad for free without any cost.

But it doesn’t end there; recently, a homemade food catering business has been seen operating in part of this complex. Iran Gate has discovered that this catering pays a monthly rent of over 35 billion tomans to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office. Considering the rental rates in this area of Tehran, it can be said that this property has been rented to the mentioned catering below the market price. However, the more important point is that Ahmadinejad’s office has seized the rent without paying a single rial to the Foundation for the Oppressed.

Meanwhile, legally, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is also a tenant in the Velenjak property in Tehran and does not have the authority to rent it out to a third party. However, it is said that this action was carried out legally and by the Foundation for the Oppressed, but the rent amount has been made available to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office without any restrictions. This action, which took place after Ebrahim Raisi’s government came to power, is actually part of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s billion-level reward for his support.
