Review of the Strategic Action Plan for the Security of the Strait of Hormuz Begins in the National Security Commission of Parliament

The review of the strategic action plan for the security of the Strait of Hormuz has begun in the National Security Commission of the Parliament.

The head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament announced that the review of the general and specific aspects of the strategic action plan for ensuring the security of the Strait of Hormuz and the sustainable development of the Persian Gulf has started in this commission and will be presented to the Parliament floor as soon as it is finalized.

According to him, this plan is the result of consolidating 12 plans and proposals and aims to secure the interests of the Islamic Republic, covering political, security, defense, economic, and geographical dimensions related to the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf.
