Revocation of citizenship in case of committing terrorist crimes

Simultaneously with the approval of the Israeli parliament to revoke the citizenship of Palestinians in Israel and East Jerusalem in case of committing terrorist crimes and receiving funds from self-governing organizations in America and Europe, they criticized the decision of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to expand settlement construction.

The Israeli parliament approved the law on Wednesday, February 26, with a majority of 94 in favor and 10 against, which allows the government to expel and revoke the citizenship of Arabs and Palestinians residing in East Jerusalem who were Israeli citizens.

The main target of this law is Palestinians and Arabs who have been convicted of terrorist crimes in the courts of this country and have received financial assistance from Palestinian organizations, but according to Israeli media, family members of these prisoners may also be subject to this law.
